CFD Workshop

About the workshop

This CFD group at FOSSEE, IIT Bombay aims to promote the use of free/libre and open source CFD toolbox OpenFOAM (Free/Libre and Open source Field Operation and Manipulation), which is a replacement for commercial packages like Fluent and Star CCM.

We are conducting a one day workshop on 22nd March, 2014. The workshop will be useful to both new users and existing users wishing to broaden their basic knowledge of OpenFOAM.

Prerequisites for the workshop.

  1. Laptop.
  2. Headphones.

This workshop will be beneficial for final and pre-final year students of Mechanical, Production, Civil and Chemical Engineering. Other interested members and research groups may also attend/participate.

You will be provided with OpenFOAM Live DVD to use the software at the venue. However, we recommend you to have OpenFOAM installed on your laptops before attending the workshop.
