  • FOSSEE along with the Mechanical Dept., of IIT Bombay, had organised a one workshop on CFD and OpenFOAM on 1st May 2026.  42 students from across all the departments of IIT Bombay attended this workshop. They have been introduced to OpenFOAM from the basics (including the installation)  through hands-on sessions and demonstrations. The students have been given an assignment after the workshop so that they feel confident about what they have learnt during the workshop. After the workshop the students felt confident about applying OpenFOAM in their CFD projects. 

  • Applications are  invited for the FOSSEE, IIT Bombay, Semester Long Internship 2026 for OpenFOAM and OpenFOAM GUI. 
    Visit https://fossee.in/semester-internship/2026. Select a Screening Task and solve it. Qualify the interview rounds and become a FOSSEE Intern. 

  • Registration for the FOSSEE Semester Long Internship, Autumn 2025, is going on. Last date approaching soon (15th Sept).
