The CFD team of FOSSEE offers the following services to educational institutions, students, academia and industry professionals. 

Services for Academic Institutions:

A complete course on ‘The Application of CFD using OpenFOAM’ is available for institutions. It is a 3 months course (one semester) suitable for the departments of Mechanical, Chemical and Aerospace Engineering. Students from first year bachelors degree to doctoral level can learn the practical aspects of CFD and the application of OpenFOAM for the same. To apply for availing the course please fill up this form. 

This course will be available from the Autumn semester onwards.

Please note that this course will be offered by FOSSEE, IIT Bombay, completely free of cost.

Services for students and academia

The CFD team of FOSSEE offers (i) OpenFOAM training workshops and (ii) Industry readiness workshops, for students. For the academia, Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) are offered on OpenFOAM and it's application on CFD. Announcements regarding the workshops and FDPs, as and when they are planned, could be viewed here.

OpenFOAM Learning Program

The CFD team of FOSSEE offers the ‘OpenFOAM Learning Program’ to CFD enthusiasts who have the basic knowledge of OpenFOAM and has the potential to develop their knowledge so as to solve small problems of CFD using OpenFOAM and publish their work as Case Study Projects.
