Dr. Pawan Negi

Dr. Pawan Negi is the co-founder of Navygate Technologies, driven by a vision to democratize access to advanced engineering tools and enhance the quality, accessibility, and impact of scientific research. He earned his Ph.D. from IIT Bombay, where his doctoral research focused on improving the accuracy and convergence of Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH), a widely used meshless numerical method for complex fluid and multiphase flow problems.

Following his Ph.D., Pawan worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Illinois Institute of Technology (Chicago), where he further expanded his research in computational fluid dynamics, numerical methods, and scientific computing. During his tenure, he also taught mathematics courses, gaining valuable experience in pedagogy and mentoring students at the undergraduate level.

Pawan brings strong industry experience from the defense and aerospace sectors. He worked at Zeus Numerix Private Limited, contributing to high-fidelity simulations for defense and aerospace applications, and later at Siemens, where he worked on large-scale codebases for NX software, gaining deep exposure to industrial-grade software development and maintenance.

His technical expertise spans both mesh-based and meshless numerical methods, with a strong foundation in computational physics and engineering simulations. He has extensive programming experience in Python, C, C++, and Java, and is actively involved in developing scalable, research-oriented software solutions.

Through Navygate Technologies, Pawan aims to bridge the gap between cutting-edge research and practical engineering tools, empowering researchers, students, and engineers worldwide with accessible, high-quality computational technologies.
