A one day workshop on CFD OpenFOAM held at IIT Bombay in association with the Mechanical Engineering Dept., IIT Bombay

FOSSEE along with the Mechanical Dept., of IIT Bombay, had organised a one workshop on CFD and OpenFOAM on 1st May 2026.  42 students from across all the departments of IIT Bombay attended this workshop. They have been introduced to OpenFOAM from the basics (including the installation)  through hands-on sessions and demonstrations. The students have been given an assignment after the workshop so that they feel confident about what they have learnt during the workshop. After the workshop the students felt confident about applying OpenFOAM in their CFD projects.
