FOSSEE OpenFOAM Summer Fellowship 2025 - Experience

What started as a one-day workshop on the basics of OpenFOAM turned into an incredible journey through the FOSSEE Summer Fellowship 2025. After completing the screening activities, I had the opportunity to work with supportive mentors who guided me throughout the project. During my fellowship, I worked on a research migration project that involved simulating non-Newtonian flows in OpenFOAM. This experience helped me develop practical skills in simulation, from case setup and analysis to conducting research and writing papers. Beyond technical knowledge, it taught me patience and the value of collaboration. I am very grateful to the FOSSEE team and my mentors for making this journey both memorable and impactful.
